Mark Gettleman, MD

My job is to provide you with the absolute best pediatric care possible. I start this process with listening carefully to your concerns. Knowing that doctor visits can be stressful for kids, I try to put them at ease with playful, silly and sometimes corny banter. Through the years this has earned me my moniker of “Dr. Goofy” for which I am quite proud. I sincerely believe I have a responsibility as your pediatrician to stay up to date with the current science so I can explain and provide top of the line care for your children. To that end, I believe the body heals itself most of the time, and do not prescribe unnecessary medications that show no benefit, but can potentially harm your children.

I have spent the last 20 years of my career developing unique infant feeding and sleeping programs that have changed countless lives through simple, behavioral techniques that ensure babies learn key life skills, decreasing or eliminating colic, reflux, and guarding against obesity. I can’t wait to share them with you.

I am happily married to my best friend. I have two tall, smart and sweet boys, two cute dogs and a collection of cartoon sock and ties unrivaled in this hemisphere.
