Clara Thomson, MD

Dr. Clara Thomson, a native of Edmond, Oklahoma, became a part of the JKP team in 2023. A devoted "Sooner" for 8 years, she pursued her Undergrad and Med School studies at OU before moving to the DC metro area for residency training. Passionate about pediatric care, Dr. Thomson seamlessly connects her medical expertise with other professional interests, fostering a comprehensive approach to child wellness. Her dedication extends to community advocacy, innovation, vaccine education, mental health and skin care, particularly acne.

Children, being the future of our world, inspire Dr. Thomson's work every day. She takes pride in guiding them through their developmental journeys, ensuring a path to a healthy and balanced life.

Outside the medical field, Dr. Thomson's passions are rich and varied. A seasoned traveler with a love for music, she has released several singles on Spotify. As the Director of the Campus Chapter Division for the nonprofit Katie’s Art Project (501(c)3), she leads college students in the mission to utilize various art forms to create lasting legacies for pediatric patients. Her song "Strong Like Me," penned and recorded in 2018 for a pediatric cancer patient, exemplifies this commitment and is available on all music platforms. Her connection to the art of medicine and the world around her ensures a holistic and compassionate approach to healthcare.
