Just Kids Pediatrics Vaccination Policy

We believe that vaccines are safe, effective and life saving. We believe that all children should receive all the recommended vaccines according to the schedule published by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Breaking up the vaccines goes against expert recommendation.

We realize that there are different stances on vaccines; we are here to answer any questions your family may have regarding the vaccines that we recommend for your children.

Should you decline to vaccinate your child, we respectfully ask that you choose another primary care provider.  However, we will provide urgent care services to your child during our non-primary care hours from 5-9 on weekdays and 9-5 on weekends.

If you would like to catch your child up on vaccinations, we are happy to help.

Schedule a Flu Shot & Vaccine Appointment

Are your children excited to start school in a few weeks?

School is a place where kids can expect to make friends, learn new things about themselves and discover new hobbies that they will love! A downfall to public schooling, however, is the illnesses. It seems as though if one child gets sick, another one will start to feel the symptoms, so on and so forth. So if you are worried that your child's immune system won't be able to hold its own ground this school year when it comes to flu season, it's time for you to make an appointment to get your kid a flu shot and other vaccines in Oklahoma City or Tulsa.

Even though peak flu season doesn't hit until February most years, it is a good idea to get your child immunized to prepare for when flu takes hold of the school your child attends.

There is nothing like being able to fight off the flu! The flu is one illness that you don't want to be in your household. Once it has made its way into your home, it won't leave until it has made its rounds and everyone has felt the wrath of the bug. If you are well aware of how the flu feels, it won't hurt for you to get a flu shot either! Protect yourself, your children and your entire family from getting sick this school year. Contact us today to make an appointment for your child.
